High performance surf training
Our Morning Sessions Program begins with a journey to find the ideal surf spot around Playa Hermosa, taking into account tides, waves, and conditions to create an optimal environment for training.
Once the location is set, we assess the waves and plan the objectives for the session. Depending on the day, this could involve competition-style heats, focused technique work, or free surfing, adapting to the conditions and the group’s needs.
Before entering the water, participants engage in a mindset meditation, followed by a dynamic warm-up to prepare both body and mind for the surf.
In the water, coaches provide real-time guidance while the session is filmed. This allows participants to refine their technique, timing, and strategy while observing tangible progress through video feedback.
After surfing, the group enjoys a refreshing snack and hydration, then moves into a strength and mobility workout. Sessions include exercises that correct imbalances, build endurance, and enhance overall performance.
Following the workout, participants share a nourishing breakfast together, reflecting on the morning and fostering connection, communication, and community.
The program concludes with video analysis, reviewing the surf session in detail. Coaches provide actionable feedback and personalized guidance, helping participants identify areas for improvement and set goals for future sessions.
Transportation is provided for all participants, giving them the opportunity to surf different spots around Playa Hermosa. This allows students to experience a variety of waves, adapt to different conditions, and continue developing versatile surf skills.
By combining in-water coaching, land-based workouts, and group reflection, participants gain a holistic experience that strengthens their physical abilities, mental focus, and confidence.
